I’m Having a Hard Time Chewing
Are You Having A Hard Time Chewing?
Are you having a hard time chewing due to a lack of teeth? We can offer you an excellent, high-quality solution to your problem. Dental implants can restore your chewing power, help you look your best, and allow you to feel great about your smile.
What Are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are prosthetic tooth roots usually made out of titanium. We place these implants directly into your gums and allow them to fuse with your jawbone. This creates a sturdy foundation for a replacement tooth. Dental implants are one of most reliable methods of tooth replacement and are great for most healthy patients. See our full service page on dental implants here.
Types of Dental Implants
We offer three main types of dental implants: traditional single implants, All-on-4 implants, and mini dental implants. Let’s talk about how each of these types can help you get the results you want.
Traditional Implants. These dental implants are used to replace a single missing tooth. They are the most basic kind of implant and require a healing period of about 3 or 4 months before being loaded with your permanent replacement crown. We specially design your replacement tooth to look just like a natural tooth — we can choose the shape, size, and color to blend in with your smile.
All-on-4 Dental Implants. This procedure is used to replace an entire arch or even an entire mouthful of teeth. We use four strategically placed implants to support a full-arch denture. This denture will be crafted to meet your specifications and will offer you the support you need to eat whatever you want! This option is also called Teeth-in-a-Day and can be performed in one office visit to give you a new smile quickly! Learn more about our All-on-4 dental implants here.
Mini Implants. These implants are designed to be easier to place than traditional implants. Because of their smaller diameter, they are considered less invasive and require less healing time. However, they also are not as strong or long-lasting. Talk to Dr. Fuesting to determine if mini dental implants are right for you.
