Teach Your Teens To Care About Their Teeth [video]Thursday, June 22nd, 2017
As your kids get older and become teenagers, you want to encourage them to practice good oral hygiene habits.
Follow the suggestions in this video by the American Dental Association. At home, teach everyone in your family to use a fluoride toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush to brush their teeth twice per day. They also should use dental floss or another interdental cleaner daily to remove food particles and plaque from between their teeth and gums.
And last, but not least, they should visit our dentist office in Danville, IL, a few times per year for professional dental cleanings and exams. Remember, preventing dental problems is always the best option.
